Biographical history
Eva Fritsch was born in March 1949 in Göteborg, Sweden. She immigrated to Canada in 1958 with her family. She attended the University of Manitoba’s School of Art from 1973-1976. She did design and paste-up work for Turnstone Press, CV 2, and Arts Manitoba during their years of inception. Fritsch was also a board member for Arts Manitoba. Fritsch began painting in 1981 and has exhibited her work in many shows. She had three children with Robert Enright. She lives in Winnipeg where she continues to paint.

The fonds was donated to the University of Manitoba Archives & Special Collections by Eva Fritsch March 1, 2011.
Scope and content
The fonds is separated into 10 series: biographical material, correspondence, minutes and other documents from literary organizations, design work, newspaper clippings, the Bird’s Hill Park Series exhibition, sketches, artwork by Denis Nokony, and Turnstone Press publications for which Eva Fritsch did design work, photographs and negatives. The fonds also includes a photograph collection featuring 234 photographs, 499 negatives, 125 sketches, and 2 oversize materials.
